Nellies Letter from 1992 won her Canada’s Stamp of Approval Award and has been placed in a capsule in Canada’s National Archives to be opened in 2117. Widdershins and a story "Letter from 1992" were taught as part of an English Curriculum at Minsk State Linguistic University in 1999. Strowbridge also won Second Prize in the Orion Prize for Poetry 2003 for "September 11, 200l in Newfoundland".
